The Department of Environment and Resource Studies, located within the larger Faculty of Environment, offers programs which focus on sustainability and the ethics of solving environmental and resource problems, using techniques and ideas from many disciplines - ecology, environmental governance, energy, water, waste management, media, and environmental assessment.
