Adaptation Advisory Committee Meeting
On December 1 and 2 2010, more than 70 Adaptation Advisory Committee members gathered to decide on the most significant climate change challenges facing Canadians today. The committee members listened to 24 expert presentations which explored areas affected by climate change. The experts voted and identified six of the 24 topics as the greatest climate change challenges. Experts will conduct in depth research centered around recommending feasible adaptation response actions.

In addition to these broad research areas, the committee members selected the following three of the eight proposed property and casualty insurance specific research areas.
